Departamento Temporal de los Objetos

Four Muni Children’s Chairs, by Jaime Gutiérrez Lega

The Muni Chair was designed in 1972 by Jaime Gutiérrez Lega (b. 1932), a foundational figure in Colombian industrial design. It’s an early example of sustainability-led design for communities: a single plank of commercially-sized wood makes 8 children’s chairs, and a 120 x 120 cm crate fits 320 disassembled chairs.
