Wood types approved by Mr. Mosseri (subject to availability): Walnut, cedar ash, oak
Originally designed in 1978, the stackable Four-in-one Table is an iconic example of the legendary Colombian architect’s unique approach to utilitarian beauty. One of Mosseri’s rare domestic designs, the original prototype is included in the exhibition Crafting Modernity: Design in Latin America 1940-1980, at MoMA, New York, on view until 22 September 2024.
The 1970s were a key period in Mosseri’s career, known for his developments with geometry and brickwork. Historic walled cities and European postwar architecture were early influences, particularly the work of Alvar Aalto. Known for his renovation of Colombia’s National Library— and over 100 other projects— Mosseri is a champion of balancing technical and aesthetic innovation with cultural cohesion and local contexts.
Each table is sold with a certificate of authenticity.
