Katharina Grosse is a German artist renowned for her monumental in-situ paintings and riotously-colored installations. Her work blurs the traditional boundary between a painting and its environment, incorporating industrial scales and architecture to make the act of looking akin to the act of being. She has exhibited widely in prominent institutions around the world, including the 56th Venice Biennale, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, MoMA PS1 in New York, and the South London Gallery, among many others.

To benefit South London Gallery and celebrate its 130th anniversary, Grosse created a large limited edition printed scarf featuring an original design that references her painting process.
