Transitory Bookshelf
This bookshelf responds to a common dilemma: unread books piling up. Stadler combines two sloping platforms that help us manage this problem: the “read!” section reminds us that we should take the time to read; the “read.” section helps us to digest recently read books before they blend into the main library. This shelf is made using a single-step digital cutting and engraving process. Once folded and glued, it becomes a solid, 3-dimensional object.
How much weight your bookshelf can hold depends on the quality of your wall. It’s fixed to the wall with only three screws. We recommend not fully loading it with heavy books, and avoiding abrasive cleaning materials that could scratch the surface.
